Really nice stay in the peaceful area. Cosy hotel with outstanding staff and great wi-fi. Residential location, a 10-15 minute walk from clifford's tower. Visited few places in the centre, at walking distance from the venue. Excellent reception.

The breakfast was wonderful, greatly enjoyed free parking. The bed was comfortable and there were a television with satellite channels, a seating area and ironing facilities. When we came, the owner met us and was lovely. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from, like Melton's, set within 5 minutes walk or so.

If you want to be right by a railway station, it is conveniently positioned. The breakfasts is EXTENSIVE with a huge variety of food.

The location was marvelous, with Wolds Inn nearby, where we could eat. Our favourite hotel in York, staff was friendly!
